Hillscourt Conference Centre, Rose Hill, Rednal, Birmingham, B45 8RS
Set in 25 acres of attractive grounds, Hillscourt Conference Centre offers an ideal environment for conferences and training events.
A former school, now owned and operated by the NASUWT (teachers Trade Union), Hillscourt is centred around Hillscourt House, a Victorian mansion that has been extended and modernised to provide excellent meeting and catering facilities.
There is a 100-seat restaurant and fully licensed bar. 55 en-suite bedrooms are available, most of which are in a purpose-built block built in 1989. All bedrooms have en-suite shower room, direct dial telephone, remote control colour TV with Freeview, tea and coffee making facilities.
The seven conference rooms range in size from The Conference Hall accommodating up to 150 in a theatre style layout to the Boardroom which is designed to accommodate eight delegates.
The Conference Hall is equipped with a modern and flexible audio-visual system incorporating the latest data/video projection facilities. The ceiling mounted projection unit projects images from computer or video sources onto a 6’ X 6’ retractable screen. The system is supplemented by a seven channel radio microphone public address system and built-in induction loop to assist hearing-aid users.
Seminar rooms have smart boards and ceiling-mounted projectors. Portable multi-media units and lap-top computers are available for use in the smaller meeting rooms.
The ample car parking facilities are well lit and covered by 24-hour closed circuit TV surveillance. There is also an entrance/exit barrier system for vehicles offering added security for delegates.
